Couples, Family & Individual Counseling Since 1980
Today you are one step closer to a new you where you feel empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being. As a solution-focused therapist, I will help you to see it and to get to it in the most efficient and powerful way possible.
I am a Board Certified Clinical Psychotherapist, Marriage Counselor and LCSW. I have provided psychotherapy, assessments and consultations for 37 years.
As a psychotherapist, couples counselor and addiction therapist, I have helped thousands of people with depression, anxiety, chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, grief/loss, trauma, self-image and marriage/relationships problems. I offer consultation and psychological services for individual, couples and families.
If you are, or think you may be, struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, marriage or relationship issues, my mission as your therapist is to help you to overcome it by giving you specific tools that you will learn to use to improve your control mechanisms and live free and stay free from self-defeating behavior. I can help you to become self-sufficient and empowered, and to achieve your life goals by removing whatever it is that is standing in your way.
It is said that the days are long and the years are short. There is no time like the present to alleviate the obstacles to your growth and potential. If you want to resolve a marriage or particular problem, enhance your personal growth, or to move your life in a new direction, I will help you in a supportive, problem-solving, non-judgmental and confidential setting.
We will identify and alleviate old behavior patterns and misperceptions that hold you back from living the meaningful life that you want and can have. We will identify and utilize ways to enhance your support system, and we will set in place new patterns and perceptions that will prevent your problems from coming back.
Everyone should have the best life possible, and as your therapist, I am committed to your having just that: a life that inspires you and that just may inspire others.
"We do not see things as they are – We see things as we are."
